Wednesday

Today was a pretty normal day for a standard adventure on our walk. I chased a squirrel that went up this tree.

I think fall is my favorite time right now because there are so many sticks on the ground! When I found some good ones we just stopped to sit in the park and enjoy the weather while I chewed on sticks.

It was a nice day but very windy at the lakefront. I caught a lot of scents in the wind that distracted me from the stick-chewing.

It was so nice to be outside while the weather is still so mild. The sun was so bright at the park as it was setting through the trees.

I was really thirsty from running around (Jenny said it was like I was trying to break her arm!). I could stand up enough to reach right into the drinking fountain and drink from the stream of water. It was good to stop for water before we finished our walk. I saw a few more dogs on our way from the park back to the house. A pug came into the park as we were leaving and we got to say hi to each other. Then I met Dylan and two small Shih Tzu dogs on the last part of our walk right before we got back to the building. I was so tired from all the fun that I had to lay down and take a break as we waited in the lobby for the elevator. Even our normal evening walks are so adventurous, so it is fun to write about them!
